I had fun so much making these! I've actually been wanting to do boat nails for a while now, and it was just perfect timing for them to use the sea as their theme. I hope you enjoy these nails as much as I loved staring at theme throughout the weekend.

The Nail Art Guild: The Sea
Hi lovelies! Sorry I haven't been posted all week, I was on vacation last weekend and needed a couple days to stop being so lazy. LOL Anyways, a couple of nail artists on Instagram came up with a group called The Nail Art Guild. You can find their Instagram here. They have themes for nail art every other Friday and last week was their first. They chose 'the sea' as their first theme, and anyone can join in. If you want to see the different designs that people have done, check out the hashtag '#TNAGTHESEA' on Instagram. A lot of them are amazing, go see for yourself!

If you like pina coladas...
Hi my loves! I've got another summery design for you today! Again, they're not perfect but I like them! This is my third time (I think) playing around with my striping tape and I love them so far! I can't wait to see what else I can do with them!
I need to get a thinner nail art brush to do the designs on the pineapples but I think these'll do for now. Keep reading, and I hope you enjoy!

Sun-kissed Skin So Hot We'll Melt Your Popsicle
Hi Lovelies! I've been wanting to do popsicle nails in forever now. And when I got a hold of China Glaze Neon and On and On, I knew I had the perfect color to do them. So here they are! I still need practice, but I think they're pretty ok. Check my Instagram for the short tutorial I recorded on these nails.
I know my middle finger looks like just one color, but I actually did the sponge technique with 3 different colors. For more details on which polishes I used, keep on reading! Enjoy!

Jumping on the bandwagon
I've been seeing lots and lots of pictures of China Glaze Too Yacht to Handle and Highlight of my Summer on Instagram and I've always wanted them. Today, I was finally able to get them and I'm so glad that I did. I've read that the application for both weren't so great but for the brightness of these polishes, I wouldn't mind 3-4 coats of these.
Now I don't remember exactly how many coats I used, but I don't think that I went over 3-4 coats. So it's not so bad, in my opinion. Especially for how amazing they look. I just love these so much!
Anyways, this is such a random manicure that was inspired by numerous things. Also, I decided to change my nail shape. I figured I needed to try something new and thought oval nails would be awesome! Especially when my nails grow, and I thought it would be easier to maintain long nails when they're this shape. Let's see how long I can last with oval nails. (I'm a square / squoval kind of girl).
On my index finger is OPI Tiffany Case, topped with approximately 4 coats of OPI I Can Teal You Like Me.

Neon Lines
I've been seeing neon colors on different polish brands' summer collections, and I decided I needed to do a summer mani. Especially because I recently got myself a bottle of Flip Flop Fantasy. I've been wanting this polish for the longest time, and I'm so happy to finally have it! I have read somewhere though that the color they have now is different from the original bottle. I wish I was able to get a hold of the old bottle too, but s'all good. Anyways, for this mani I used all new colors that I got on my trip to BZ.
I'm still trying to master the art of the striping tape mani, and I'm definitely loving the X design on my accent nail. I'm just so in love with how it looks. So be ware of my future posts with this design. It was very difficult to capture the true color of FFF but I tried my best, hence the numerous amount of pictures I have. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do!

Simplicity is Elegance
Good evening lovelies! I hope you had a nice day today, as mine was so-so. I tried to do the DIY peel off base coat with school glue and water but it didm't turn out the way I wanted it to be. I think I added too much water, so I have to try again. Whattafail ): Anyways, I finally found time to put designs on my nails but they're not all that creative. I was feeling meh, and because my base color seemed so elegant to me, I decided to just use gold to make it 'pop' a bit. I tried to record a tutorial, but I still need to get used to recording and keep my hand out of the shot. It's hard for me :/ but I'm trying! Haha I hope you like them, and now on to the pictures....
